From the organiser of the Helena Tipping 10k Memorial Road Race 2008

Wrexham AAC would like to apologise for the errors in the results of the Helena Tipping 10K road race. On the day inexperienced recorders were used and unfortunately they missed 11 runners.  I.E. 11 more times recorded than runners numbers & where runners were not recorded those below got moved up a place until by the end of the results some people were 11 places better off in terms of times than they should have recorded. In addition to which a further 10 numbers appeared in the results twice.

These sort of problems are extremely difficult if not impossible to resolve 100% & unfortunately this will be the case in this instance even though there has been a number of emails pointing out the errors.

I can only apologise on behalf of the club as on this occasion we let things slip and hope it didn't spoil you day to much.
